Faith Covenant Church Event Planning

Why do we do Programs and Events?  We plan programs and events to help support our mission statement of “Connect, Grow, Serve”.  Events can have a focus on any of these areas.  Thinking though the purpose ahead of time will help you clarify the most important components of your event.  Planning ahead will allow the church staff to help you make the best event possible. Please review the Planning Ministry Programs & Events Guide to help you get started.

ENEWSLETTER PUBLICITY REQUEST

  • Download and complete the purple Publicity Form. Save the Publicity Form with a new document name for your entries to be saved.
  • For your announcement to be eligible for that week’s publications, please submit your publicity form by Tuesday at 12:00pm, noon, prior to the weekend you would like it to run. The sooner we receive your request, the sooner we can prioritize it. Publicity requests are not guaranteed.
  • Send to Claudia.Bologna@4fcc.org and Amanda.Haelterman@4fcc.org
  • The e-newsletter can handle larger volumes of requests
 

BULLETIN PUBLICITY REQUEST

STAGE ANNOUNCEMENT REQUEST

  • Download and complete the purple Publicity Form. Save the Publicity Form with a new document name for your entries to be saved.
  • For your announcement to be eligible for that week’s publications, please submit your publicity form by Tuesday at 12:00pm, noon, prior to the weekend you would like it to run. The sooner we receive your request, the sooner we can prioritize it. Publicity requests are not guaranteed.

  • We seek to limit the number of stage announcements to 3 a weekend, and that announcements that impact the whole church or help new people get connected to the church will receive priority.
 

EVENT & EVENT PUBLICITY REQUEST (Needed for both on-site and off-site events)

  • Download and complete the entire Event Packet. Save the Event Packet with a new document name for your entries to be saved.
  • Turn in 6 weeks before the event takes place. This timetable is necessary to:
      • Make sure there are no date conflicts with other planned church events
      • Make sure the facility is available for your event
      • Get your event publicized. The sooner we receive your request, the sooner we can prioritize it. Publicity requests are not guaranteed.
      • Get you prepped to use the facility
  • Events are reviewed and approved at Staff meetings on Tuesdays at 10am. If staff is not meeting the Tuesday following when you submit the packet, your request will then be taken to the following meeting.
