Say YES to Faith Cov Kidz
Come say “yes” to kids today and see the world through our kids’ eyes. Teaching and Non-Teaching opportunities are available.
Saying “yes” to a child means saying “yes” to hugs or tears, silly faces or funny stories. It means saying “yes” to texting and LOL or YOLO.
It means showing up in a child’s life to make a difference.
Saying “yes” means committing yourself to our kids to help them know the Lord and what love looks like.
Saying “yes” to our kids means getting involved in Youth or Kids Ministries.

Looking for Ushers
FCC has opportunities for you to serve as an usher for either of our two services. We especially need ushers for the 11:15 service. If GOD is calling you to go through this door to serve as an usher, please e-mail Doug Berg.
Communion Preparers Needed
We are looking for volunteers to help with our communion ministry. This involves preparing communion before the 9:30am service, helping between services to make sure things are set for the 11:15am service, and helping to clean up after the 11:15am service. This only involves one Sunday (usually the first Sunday) a month and you can choose any of the above times to help. Contact the church office.
Prayer Shawl Knitters Needed
The Prayer Shawl Ministry is in need of more prayer shawls. If you are able to make one, please consider picking up your knitting needles or crochet hook and making a shawl. Yarn is available. Someone will truly be blessed by your efforts. Questions, contact Nancy Lewis.
Welcome Team Ministry
The Welcome Team ministry (previously known as Faith Hosts) is in need of additional greeters. The team provides a warm handshake and welcoming smile as members, newcomers and visitors arrive at Faith Covenant for either the 9:30am or 11:15am service.
The commitment is for only one Sunday a month. It is an excellent CONNECT, GROW and SERVE opportunity for individuals, couples, families and growth groups.
If you are interested or have questions, please contact Bill and Cynthia Dolezal by email or at 248-473-4108.
We are so blessed at Faith Covenant to support so many diverse ministries including our willingness to provide meals to individuals/families at times of special need. Such times include illness, surgery, new baby, or recent death. To continue this program the Congregational Care Commission needs:
- Individuals to cook and/or provide meals
- Individuals to deliver meals
- A coordinator who accepts the calls identifying needs, contacts the family for specific dates, and then contact those individuals willing to help with meals.
Questions? contact Kristine Dreyer
When you know of a family with needs, please contact the pastoral staff.
I am seeking volunteers from the congregation for Scripture readers for the first and second services. All age groups are welcome. I hope to have enough volunteers so the time commitment would only be once every five or six weeks. If you are interested in being part of the team, please contact Doug Berg.
