What can you expect when you come?
Our two worship services are similar in core content with a distinctive flavor at each. Upon arriving, you will find ushers on hand to point the way to the sanctuary, restrooms, or anywhere else you’re headed. Be sure to pick up a welcome packet from the literature table. You’ll find the atmosphere warm and welcoming.
Sunday morning worship is the time during the week when the congregation as a whole gathers together to worship God, pray, sing, study the Bible and interact with one another. Our “contemporary” worship service begins at 9:15am and features a broad mix of instruments including guitars and drums that help us to worship God. The “traditional” worship service begins at 11:00am. It typically incorporates sacred hymns and is accompanied by organ and choral anthems. The music, though varied, tends to reflect the heritage of our faith.
What happens with the kids?
Elementary classes (K-4th grade) meet during both services (9:15 only in the summer).
The fun continues Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. when high school students (Move) are given a chance to connect with each other and adult mentors.
Rock Solid is our Wednesday Night children’s program using the “What’s In The Bible?” curriculum and the kids will keep doing popular activities on our special activity nights.
Rock Solid Singers: Elementary age children will sing at the beginning of Wednesday evening’s children’s activities and will perform in various worship services throughout the year.
All of the above experiences are led by people who attend our church and have participated in a screening process.
