CITY COVENANT CHURCH
Located in Brightmoor neighborhood of Detroit (13624 Stout, Detroit, 48223), God is working in many ways to make a difference in this community. Our brothers and sisters at City Covenant are feeding the community several days a week and value our support.
Unfortunately, they are not able to do the traditional Thanksgiving Baskets this year.
How to Serve
1. Serve Meals: Each week City Covenant serves over 600 meals to their local community. Their food ministry team works hard each day to prepare & serve these meals. If you would like to help prep & serve a meal, or your small group would like to provide a meal on a particular day, contact Lynne Wasiak to find out the details and schedule a date. They serve 150 meals Monday through Thursday each week!
2. Donate Food Ministry Supplies: Donations of non-perishable food (such as large cans of veggies), napkins, plastic utensils, paper towels, plastic grocery bags, full size foil pans, & styrofoam compartment carryout containers are collected and taken to City Covenant to help serve over 600 meals each week.
3. Tutoring: Ongoing through the school year every Monday, 5pm – 6:30pm. Tutoring happens via ZOOM each week until it is safe to be in person. This is an opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life! Middle school students through any aged adult are welcome to be tutors. Contact Lynne Wasiak or Pastor Eric for more information.
4. Give: Monetary donations can be made ONLINE to City Covenant to use for their meal ministry.
