Join us at the Peony Garden at the Nicholas Arboretum on Saturday, June 5th at 1:00 pm (rain or shine). Everyone is welcome. Hosted by Women Ministries.
Enjoy the Peony Gardens and then go on a nature walk around the rest of the Arboretum at 2pm. There are uphill and downhill sections on the nature walk.
Meet at the Gateway Garden Entrance at 1610 Washington Heights, Ann Arbor, MI.
Parking: Parking is free on the weekends at U of M Lots M-28 and M-29. If these are full, parking is available for $3 about 2 blocks away at the the U of M Hospital P3 Parking Structure, 10 E Medical Center Drive, Ann Arbor, MI 48109 (Between the Taubman Center and CS Mott Children’s Hospital).
Additional Information: The Peony Garden at the Nichols Arboretum at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor presents a stunning spring display, currently with 350 historic herbaceous varieties (cultivars) from the nineteenth and first half of the twentieth century. It is the largest public collection of historic (pre-1950) herbaceous peony cultivars in North America. The Peony Garden was opened to the public in 1927; visiting it in bloom has become an annual rite for many visitors.
