ASSOCIATE PASTOR

James has been on staff at Faith since February 2020. He and his wife, Meredith, have been married since 2014 and have two sons together. James earned his B.A. from Michigan State University and his M.Div from Moody Theological Seminary – Michigan. Whenever he gets a little free time, he enjoys reading, writing, and fly-fishing. James is passionate about getting people connected to the church and helping them grow in their walk with Jesus. 

YOUTH PASTOR

Devon was born and raised in the Metro Detroit area. He has been married to his wife, Amanda, since 2017 but they’ve been with each other since middle school. They have two dogs, Blue and Apollo, that they spoil as if they were their children. In Devon’s free time he loves to both watch and play sports, walk his dogs, read books, play video games or just chill and watch movies with his wife. He is passionate about student ministries because he believes in the next generation’s ability to see and share Jesus in a more relational way than in the past. He also loves connecting with students and helping them grow into disciples, evangelists and leaders in their communities.

CHILDREN’S PASTOR

Laura has been on staff at Faith since July 2015. She and her husband Tim have been married since 2003 and have two college aged daughters. Laura will graduate from Cornerstone Theological Seminary in May 2026 and be ordained to Word and Sacrament in the Evangelical Covenant Church in June 2026. In her spare time Laura loves to read, crochet, and hike. Laura loves walking alongside families and watching kids grow into their faith with Jesus.

WORSHIP DIRECTOR

Cat was born in Taiwan as a missionary kid but grew up in SE Michigan. She has been on staff since 2019. She and her husband, John, have been married since 2014 and have three children. In her free time, Cat enjoys Jazzercise, hiking, Bible Study Fellowship, worship/song writing, reading, and eating good food. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Taylor University and a Master’s in Music from Bowling Green State University.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Kristen started working in the church in 2022. She enjoys being able to use her Communications degree from Eastern Michigan University where she met her husband, Scott. They have been married since 2002 and have 4 children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. Kristen and her family have been attending Faith since early 2014. When she’s not at church she’s usually driving her kids to their after-school activities, reading, or watching cooking shows.

COMMUNICATIONS/GRAPHIC DESIGN

Heather has been attending Faith since birth and has loved growing up in the church. She joined the office team in 2024. Heather graduated from Taylor University with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science: Digital Media/Systems. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and traveling.
